Food Allergies
and Sensitivities
Food
allergy/sensitivity is extremely common. It is estimated that up to perhaps
50 percent of symptoms seen in the offices of medical practitioners are
related to food sensitivities. Some food allergy reactions occur immediately,
but the majority may be delayed by several hours or days, making food
allergen identification more difficult. Foods that are eaten often or
